See what previous guests have said about their time with us at Dive Bermuda Fairmont Southampton and Grotto Bay
““The boat is remarkably well kitted out and piloted by experienced Captains who navigate the reefs with apparent ease! As a local teacher and parent, I would whole heartedly recommend them as the only place to get your child certified for PADI. They always deliver the right mix of honing the safety and technical skills while at the same time making the children see the joy and possibilities of this incredible hobby. Dive Bermuda go from strength to strength and work hard on a daily basis to sustain their formidable reputation.” ”

A PADI prodigy who started Instructing at only 18, his interest for diving began in the Red Sea with a dive on the Thistlegorm, where his love for wreck diving began. Hanna is one of our returning Instructors who first dived with us in 2019, we are very happy to have Hanna back with the Dive Bermuda family! He’s the kind of guy who brings witty banter on the dive boat and has a splash of personality to rival Bermuda’s legendary shipwrecks.

Mark
Owner, PADI Assistant Instructor
First worked for Nautilus Diving (our previous company name) 25 years ago and still here today. Now an owner, we’re nice to him. Mark is passionate about Bermuda’s wrecks and fount of knowledge on just about all of them.
Our Story
Dive Bermuda was founded in 1981 as Nautilus Diving in the same spot here on the beach at the Fairmont Southampton Resort, we even still have the same phone number. Making the most of Bermuda's world class diving and the boom in recreational scuba diving, Nautilus quickly garnered a reputation as a fun, safe and pioneering dive centre.

The boat from Nautilus Diving
In the 1990's we changed owners and our name to the now familiar Dive Bermuda. In 1994 we joined PADI and have been a member for over 20 years now, training 1000's of divers from beginner all the way to instructor.
In 2011 we changed hands yet again with local lawyer Mark Diel taking the reigns. Mark worked at Dive Bermuda as a young man and has been associated with the company in one way or another ever since.
